Spring Cleaning . . . Now Tuscon . .

To any friend or lost soul who wandered in here . . . circumstances have me mainly using this blog to record memories of loveliness and the longing for . . . . for . . . .well . . I guess a longing to seek refuge in nature - a refuge from these turbulent times.

Looking back . .

Upside down cloud reflection in pond.

SHARK!

Looking back isn't as painful now that the sun and the birds are returning:0)

In the air . . in the soil . . in the trees . . . in the breeze

. . around last years goldfinch nest . . .

Something's stirring . . .

On my windshield . .

On my brother's hat - a White-throated sparrow . .

amidst the Aconite blooms . .

in the Vernal Witch hazel it's drifting . .

around the Snowdrop and first bee it's wafting. . .

and calls us to do some spring cleaning . . .

Yes, something's stirring.
. . . . in the robin's song.

Yikes!

When I took the above picture, I really hadn't appreciated how ughhhhhly this bird's feet are. Kinda makes me feel better about my own not-so-gorgeous toes.

Any guesses as to the owner of those scary pink appendages?

Hmmmmm?

Give up?

OK. Here's a shot I got of Wood Storks wading out a soaking rain at Sanibel Island, Florida.

(do click! They're ready for their closeup;0)

So ugly they're purty.
