Don't you just want to gently scoop him up and bring him indoors and feed him millet from your finger tips? The past several days the sparrows have been obsessed with bathing. I imagine they sense that before long the water is going to be hard and that their next bath might not be until the Spring thaw. Well, wouldn't you look worried too, if you only had outdoor plumbing?

Your weather must be reasonable there for his bath. Here, there was frost on the pumpkins last night, and I feel sorry for all the little birds who huddle in the trees. The only saving grace is the brilliant sunshine today, giving everything a warm glow. Ah, life can be so kind.
That is too adorable. You really have a gift for photography.
Most of our birds have gone south (I'd like to follow, it was -2 here this morning) and it is very quiet without them.
Bonita, Dmmgmfm - The water is 'hard' this morning. One of my squirrels was disconsolately working the margin of the bird bath to help wash down his breafast of peanuts of which he's partaken in abundance over the summer. My squirrels are so fat - they waddle.
