. . . are so cute! We've never seen this before. Or heard it so close to home. The male turkey is smitten and follows her everywhere with his worrisome pleading. Gobblegobblegobble on and on - into the night as he follows her across hill and dale and across our porch. These are wild. Apparently a hybrid between domestic and wild turkey. They're a hoot. Or should I say - a gobble. My video of Courting Turkeys:

I was wondering if they were domestic turkeys... so white!
Must be fun to watch...
Oh, my, they are so beautiful! Around here we get plain brown. Those are magnificent!
Yes, they do look somewhat different than our wild turkeys.
Yes, Laura -
they are great fun to watch!
They're not awfully shy. But they will start moving away if you make an appearance. Otherwise they seem quite comfortable pecking around the fringes of human habitation.
Believe me TC -
This is the first year we've had this hybrid. He sure thinks he's magnificent!
:-D
Yep, AC -
This bird is not our parent's turkey, but the gobble sure is:-D
Oh my god, there is a great deal of worthwhile data above!
