It's been a good summer :0)

To any lost soul that wanders in here by accident or out of nostalgia for what once was, hello dear fellow-traveler.

Time is flying. Perhaps it's my aging brain. Perhaps the flood of this world's events and their coverage.

But time does fly.

On the occasion pictured above, time stopped. It's been a dream of mine. To feel the little life vibrations of a chickadee. To feel little bird tremors on my head, to see little bird toes grasping the brim of my hat.

I hope a dream or two of yours has been realized this summer. There's still time, though its pace has accelerated. All the more reason to keep looking up, out and around, for after all . . .

it's a beautiful world.

Oh, Cathy--I would have sat there all day, were a chickadee to choose my hat on which to land. I might even say--go ahead, build a nest!
Very sweet.

Tell you what Andi . . many blessings as you begin to share your corner of the world. I'll try to get over there to look around, but be veeerrrrry patient. I need so badly to drop in on all these dear people you see above and below your comment.

I'm flattered you'd want me dropping in.

Laura - you always make me smile. What a take! You're right! I sat there like a dog on 'sit-stay'. Thank you for taking time to stop by - leaving aA smile in your wake :0)

Donna - Awwwww . . . I see we share the same wonder and delight in these little amusement makers.
What is it about a chickadee . . ? I mean even the name tickles the brain :0)

Thank you, my friend - for stopping by.

Time does fly, and a bird did fly onto your ha

Hey AC! So glad you dropped in. And don't worry . . I knew you meant to add that 't' and not to imply that the bird landed on my 'Ha' ;-D

Hope you and Cuppa are good and that you've been seeing lovely Anvil Clouds this summer.

Cloud watching has been terrific down here the last month or so.

Hey Smokey! You are such a dear :0) Thank you for dropping by.

And bless you for what you do for Anthony and his supporters.

Lordy, Dave. Are we living in interesting times or what?!

You probably mentioned it before, but my increasingly creaky brain lost it. What city in northern Ohio?

How wonderful! I've never got to have a bird of any sort that close!!! Pretty cool.

I have you in my feed so I can now follow you.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog!

Linda! Welcome :0)

That's my closest encounter with a bird and it was just splendid. I'd love to try it back here in Ohio, but my backyard chickadees are much more wary than their cousins on Cape Cod.

Cathy, my head is low. I'm sorry I'm so late. That's a marvelous, happy, and lovely snapshot of you. I know and I understand about time flying... It surely does.

I am so happy to see you.

Hugs,
Mary

Mary! I don't ever want to hear about that pretty face hanging low - especially - regarding this sputtering blog and this inconstant blogger.

Honey, life is too precious and short to bludgeon our struggling selves.

The older I get, the more I practice patience with myself and others in almost every venue.

The only thing I cannot tolerate and refuse to excuse - is intentional meanness and cruelty.

Beyond that - I practice gratitude. For the paths of good people who have crossed mine (yes - you:0) and for the blessings and comforts of having been born and raised in the greatest land on earth.

Amen. End of sermonizing.

Soap box to the back of the closet.

Big Hug,
Cathy
