Oh, NO! But look at you standing there with your beautiful smile lighting up the yard. I hope the repairs were swift.
Wow, you really got nailed! I am impressed that you are smiling and glad you got your power back.
I am so happy we have had no ice storms this winter. I would take 2 feet of snow over ice like that! Glad you are safe and smiling.
Ice storms can be very damaging. There was a very major one here 13 years ago, and no one is looking for a repeat.
Sweet Lynne,About that smile . . .We took that picture BEFORE the power lines started coming down :0DThank you for your good wishes.Marianne!Nailed!!??You betcha. The power is recovered, but my nerves are still frayed with computer crashes and Carbonite snafus. You saw my admission about that brave smile, above . .Thanks for your concern. We'll make it. Hi Ruth!Thank you. Yes, We're safe. Just reeeeally frazzled as I 'splained above :-) Ice is nice - in the ice maker!Hey AC,You don't like Ice Storms? I thought you were made of sterner stuff ;-DI am soooo done with winter.
It is indeed beautiful. But those of us folk who live in the country dred these ice storms. It's alway will we lose power and then how long will we be without it. In our first house we had a Franklin Stove so we knew we could at less keep warm in the dire emergencies. :)
Your ice and my ice are different animals! We got ice in Charlotte, Cathy. Back in January and it was awful...Like Lynne said, "Your beautiful smile lit up the yard!"Mary
