Winter. It's for the birds.

Eight more inches of snow.

So it's back to the window to capture some pretty birdies.

We'd have to go far afield to find a prettier bird.

Aw - they warm the freezing, snow covered shackles of my heart! Two firsts at my feeders yesterday when the storm ended - a Song Sparrow, and a Robin eating shelled peanuts - whole!

Oh Jonna! A song sparrow :) If a robin is eating peanuts . . .wow . . . never heard of that. Must be hungry.
