November Birds

Very, very nice. :) The tiny birds which flitter about in our tree up here don't sit still for more than a second or two. Srsly, they leap about in crazy fashion; I figure it's to avoid becoming lunch for eagles & hawks. And ravens. And great horned owls. And ...

What is it about birds in winter that makes us happy? Easily visible life out in the cold, seemingly unaffected but for their fluffed feathers? Finally put back up my feeders and an reaping the joy.

Rev. Paul . . . Thank you . . and Yes, they have to keep a wary eye and keep moving. You left out feral cats which perpetrate the most predation in our neck of the woods.

Jonna . . . Winter would be so threadbare without them. I have to work at not fretting about them in this frigid weather. That's why God created 'down' :)

That is really cool that you could capture such a nice collection of birds in one photo. I could visualize it as a painting.I like the photo of stiff-lip the pumpkin too!

Thank you, Larry. I agree . . :) It's frame- able . . . a reminder that there is life and color to be had despite this November trough.
