Signs of Spring

What can I say? Life says 'yes'. Beneath the snow, it stirs. Ice crystals fall away as Spring whispers - 'Shall . . .'

Oh, Cathy. I don't think I've ever seen a photo like this one. Now, THAT'S determination in teh purest, natural sense. We should all be so strong...

Come on Spring! I weeded gardens today despite freezing winds. But the sun was shining, at least.

It's nice to see snowdrops again. I've never seen them anywhere else but my parents' place, so it's been four years since I last saw any.

A neighbor has snowdrops that I've been dying to photograph - but whenever I think of it, they seem to be buried in snow!

I'm waiting for daffodils. Do you have any blooming yet?

Mary - I guess it's all relative. "Freezing" winds. Come on up and I'll show you 'freezing':0) I'm glad the sun returned. Send some my way, please.

AC - Four years is too long. They are so dear - so brave - so appreciated.

Laura - Only their strong insistent foliage dares the air. Hope 'springs' eternal.

I love those "spring whispers"! They shout hope, courage, strength.

Thanks for catching the snowdrops quiet beauty in this beautiful picture. It spoke volumes to my soul this morning.

No matter what cold dark place we find ourselves in, we can push through, up or around it and will find sunshine on the other side of it.

That is a wonderful photo. So very perfect for the season and most people's state of mind.
