The View From Northview Diary

Form her very unique vantage point, Marianne posts some beautiful pieces on life.

"So hooray for bluebirds, blue skies, and shining vistas of woods and wild lands. They do a body good."

Marianne is a master with a camera. And so, it seems, are you. :)

Thank you - you two :)

To my two faithful readers :) . . . the poem that accompanied years and years ago:

Leavings

With winter's leaving

we will not see as clearly

where the deer stepped across the brook,

where the rabbit spun

toward home.

We will not remember

so clearly

the ice that climbed the broken stalks

and sparkled from a tuft of fur.

An absolutely perfect poem for a perfect photo. Thank you...and thank you for introducing me to Northview Dairy so long ago.

Thank you, Jonna :)

I'd hoped you would like the poem.
Marianne lives these experiences in her daily comings and goings.

I encounter them on such a rare basis anymore. She takes me along . . in the Frostian sense of " . . you come too."
