On a Lighter Note

OK. Everybody. Anybody. What is that around my husband's feet and why is it there?

Spilt milk? No? It sure looks like that.
As for what it's doing there, who knows?

Did someone put way too much soap in the dishwasher? Once my dad put Dawn dish soap in ours and it spewed out everywhere. Am I close? If not, do I get a second guess or am I only allotted one?

I think maybe Laurie's got it. Doesn't look like milk.

kgmom - Nope, he wasn't "Oh my gawding" over spilt milk . . go below for the tip of my blogging hat to psychic Laurie and agreeable AnvilCloud

Laurie and AC - Spot on! Or rather 'very large puddle' - on, down, around and over. My sweetest darling wanted to help. On finding that there wasn't enough Cascade to fill the washer's reservoirs he improvised. Yep, Laurie - Dawn detergent. The detergent guaranteed to make suds when others quit. It didn't - quit. On the bright side - my kitchen floor hasn't been this clean all season

Oh, I thought it was an alien visitation.

How nice of him to help! *giggle*

Rhea - From his first exclamations I could have thought so, too.

Laura - Some female friends of mine have a theory that their husbands purposefully botch domestic tasks so that we stop asking for help. Hmmmm.
(I know that wasn't the case here - he was just doing his Tim Allen's "More Power!")

Two household tasks done in one fell swoop (or swell foop as my dad would say). Clean dishes and a clean floor...genius (as long as hubby did the mopping, that is).

Laurie - He did, but I'm still laundrying the towels :0)

I remember seeing a movie called "The Blob" when I was in the 7th grade. You'll know who was hungry if you are missing your pets.

I worked with a lady who'd grown up in the country. She didn't realize the difference in the detergents and used the wrong one the first time she lived in a place with a dishwasher. She told her husband that the machine must be broken... she never admitted to him that she just put the wrong detergent in there! :)

Bonita! Rurality! - Something is wrong with my blog account! It's not telling me through my email that nice people have left comments. Arghhh.

I love the blob theory, Bonita:0)

Rurality - I hate to admit this, but I think I might have done the same thing. What he doesn't know won't hurt me :0D
