In the
movie Shakespeare In Love - the young Shakespeare utters the line. "Oh, I am Fortune's fool!" I can't remember the exact context. I think it's when he's playing Romeo and has just killed Juliet's cousin, Tybalt. Incidentally - I love this movie.
The last few days have made up for all the cold, gray darkness of winter waiting. I am April's fool. These pictures were taken by a giddily stumbling, babblingly happy me. April's Fool - C'est moi.

Hey, you have the same kind of butterfly that Ruth at Body, Soul & Spirit had.
I love the photos--glad you are enjoying "drinking" in spring. No wonder you are giddy. Great feeling, isn't it.
I had never noticed a Mourning Cloak butterfly before this week. Your picture is excellent. I am enjoying your blog and pictures now that I have added you to my Google Reader.
Ruth
Kgmom - how nice that a butterfly has introduced me to Body Soul Spirit. Thanks for the connection. And, yes - Spring feels very, very good.
Body Soul Spirit - I'm so glad you dropped by - I'll be over to see your mourning cloak. I wondered if anyone would know what it is. One actually landed on my son's shirt late in March - years and years ago. A magical moment.
Cathy, I was giddy about you being giddy! Your photos capture Spring so well and something I know you have been waiting so patiently for... I just can't wait to see what you see next...
Love that butterfly, too.
My goodness, it looks positively tropical down there.
What lovely photos, Cathy. I am glad that spring has sprung for you there. No doubt it is a tonic to you, even more so than usual after all you've been through lately.
Spring hugs to you, my dear.
Thanks for the photos...we have snow coming. Grrrrr...
I can see all the naturalists here examining that butterfly's spots. Ah, what delights await!
Love the Mourning Cloak shot! Still waiting for the weather to break to find my first butterflies of the year. Great blog you have!!
