The Path of life

Go ahead and glow. Be a light . . . .

Try to leave a little glitter in your wake.

As I traveled to Magee Marsh yesterday to bird, the Spring images lifted my heart - filled me with a longing that comes as you age. A longing, a releasing and accepting - a knowing. The goslings - a new beginning - the attentive parents pointing the way with their elegant head-bobbing. My heart doesn't race anymore, but it is content.

Oh, the beauty of back-lighting, and all those glistening feathers. And, lets hope all of us can leave glistening sparkles behind, even if only for a short time.

Just beautiful!

The longing that comes with age, yes, I know what you mean. The knowing and accepting.

You have portrayed the innocence and beauty we long to experience, but will seldom find in the media or our day to day lives. Thanks for a lovely post!

Love that fluffy duckling. And the back lighting! How did you arrange that?
I have always liked the way ducklings, goslings, whatever line up behind parents. Wish human children were so attentive!

Beautiful images - thank you!

I'm *suffering* such a case of spring fever right now- isn't it wonderful?!

Oh, Cathy, you are one brilliant soul. You capture exquisite and beautiful photos and your words are remarkable. Heartfelt. True.

These views are worth sitting down in duck poop, crossing your legs Indian style, cupping your chin in hands, and gazing at the calm beauty. The heartrate slows. Peace.

Thanks...

Those old car memories, thank you for sharing. No one drives them like that anymore, they would never pass inspection, but we considered ourselves lucky.
