After yesterday's post I figured I'd better try something with a bit more grace to salvage my reputation as an 'ahem' -
serious blogger. So instead of dandruff - I give you star stuff as seen from the warm confines behind my windowpanes. It's too cold to stand outside, but the sun created beacons sending fire across the moonscape winter lawn and through the glass. With a few tweaks in ACDSee the glints were transformed into interstellar space. Cool.

Wow, I really thought that was a picture from space.
So what does it take to be a serious blogger? I might want to get my credentials some day.
Well, Pablo - I'm thinking that it might be easier to label a blog 'serious' by what it 'doesn't' subject its readers to. (Like dangling prepositions) I crossed the line with dry skin.
Hmmm. But Swampy posts scat pictures - so whats a little flaky epidermis slip. OK. I'm serious.
This is quite beautiful, Cathy.
Thanks, Patrice. We find beauty where we can. You've got the myriad shades of fragrant green. For now - we've got white - lots of white.
Seriously cool.
;-)
Very nice! You had me fooled!
I can almost hear a "Ho,Ho,Ho" in the distance. Did Santa get stranded there?
Good possibility, Bonita! That's probably his rescue beacon glittering on the horizon.
I really really love these images, Cathy. Thanks for the comments on gigglefern, too. It's always such delight to have you visit.

Very nice! I don't think we're ever going to get snow here.
