New Digs

C'mon, honey. I want to show you this new place I found.

The neighbors are a little squirrely.

But, I like the landscaping.

What do you think, honey?

This just might do - my own heated sauna.

Ahhhh . . .

That has got to be THE fattest squirrel I've ever seen!

I'm expecting future photos of mama mallard leading her ducklings to the sauna.

;-)

Thanks for the smile.

Great series of photos! How cute, and your captions seem right on. I agree with Laura about that squirrel -- it sure looks well fed -- and also not too happy about the ducks moving in! For the past 2 or 3 years, my mom has had a pair of ducks visiting her yard once or twice a day to clean up seed spilled by the birds that come to the feeders. We think they must be nesting in a little storm water lagoon nearby, but they fly over and then walk into the yard for their daily visit.

Blogging Buddies! This was fun. When you're sitting in wintry April, little things like mallards out for a stroll - can fill an otherwise ho-hum day.

Thank you so much for a reaffirming my sense of whimsy.

YES- my squirrels are FAT :0) You would be too, if you lived in MY backyard :0D

I'll be watching for ducklings. The female eats 8 times more than the drake - she's eating for 4 . . or more, I guess.
